Welcome to Rug Trend. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.rugtrend.com and all purchases made through our website.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Company Information

Rug Trend LLC is a Georgia limited liability company operating exclusively online.

We curate trend-forward rugs from trusted, brand-authorized U.S. manufacturers. All products ship directly from the manufacturer to ensure authenticity and quality.

2. Shipping & Fulfillment

Delivery Timeline

Most in-stock rugs ship directly from U.S. manufacturers and arrive within 3–5 business days (processing and transit combined).

Oversized rugs (generally 8’ x 11’ and larger) may require additional transit time.

Shipping Coverage

  • Free shipping within the Continental United States

  • Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses are not supported

  • Select manufacturers ship to Canada (additional freight, duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility)

Freight Deliveries

Oversized rugs may ship via freight (LTL). Freight delivery is curbside only. Customers are responsible for bringing the rug indoors. Customers are responsible for inspecting freight shipments at delivery and noting any visible damage before signing.

Tracking

Tracking information is automatically sent once the order ships.

Backorders

If an item is temporarily out of stock, backorders may be accepted. Payment is collected once the item is restocked and ready to ship. Estimated restock timelines are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to change.

3. Returns & Exchanges

30-Day Return Policy

Most rugs are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery, provided they are:

  • Unused

  • Uninstalled

  • In original condition and packaging

Return eligibility is listed clearly on each product page.

Final Sale

The following brand is Final Sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

  • American Cover Design / Persian Weavers

Return Shipping

If a rug arrives damaged, the manufacturer covers return shipping.

If the return is due to preference, sizing misfit, or change of mind:

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping

  • Oversized rugs may incur higher freight return costs

  • We may assist in arranging discounted return labels upon request

Refund Timeline

Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after inspection and returned to the original method of payment.

4. Product Authenticity & Variations

Rug Trend sells authentic designer rugs sourced directly from brand-authorized U.S. manufacturers.

Color Variations

Due to:

  • Monitor settings

  • Lighting conditions

  • Dye lot variations

Actual rug color may vary slightly from images shown.

Such variations are not considered defects.

Natural Fiber & Shag Rugs

Wool, shag, and certain natural fiber rugs may experience:

  • Shedding

  • Sprouting

  • Minor texture variations

These characteristics are inherent to the material and not manufacturing defects.

5. Warranty

Most rugs include a 1-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty, covering manufacturing defects only.

Warranty details are listed within the product description.

Rug Trend LLC assists customers in coordinating warranty claims directly with the manufacturer.

Extended protection plans may be offered in the future.

6. Pricing & Payment

We accept:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express

  • Discover

  • PayPal

  • Shop Pay

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Amazon Pay

All payments are securely processed through Shopify.

We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of:

  • Pricing errors

  • Inventory inaccuracies

  • Fraud suspicion

7. Order Accuracy & Refusal

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including: 

  • Suspected resale activity

  • Fraud indicators

  • Incomplete or inaccurate billing information

Customers agree to provide accurate and current billing and shipping details. Refused deliveries may be subject to return freight deductions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rug Trend LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Lost profits

  • Delivery delays caused by carriers

  • Installation errors

  • Improper care or maintenance

Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Rug Trend prior to initiating any chargeback.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks after confirmed delivery may be formally disputed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Arbitration & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

Any dispute arising from the use of this website or purchase of products shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Georgia.

Customers waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits.

11. Privacy

Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell customer data.

Information is used solely for order fulfillment, customer service, and communications you opt into.

12. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
